DUE TO THE HIGH NUMBER OF INSTRUMENTS IN MY REPAIR SHOP, REEDS CAN ONLY BE ORDERED BY MY CURRENT STUDENTS.

I sell handmade reeds that are built to each customer’s specifications.

Upon request, I will make reeds that are tuned sharper or flatter for an instrument's (or player's) needs.

I offer choices of 63 colors of string including sparkled string.

I make: oboe reeds using a Gilbert -1 shaper tip,

             english horn reeds using a Gilbert -1N tip,

             d'amore reeds on a Chiarugi -1 tip,

             bassoon reeds using a Rieger 2 shape.

Oboe gouger:  Graf machine.  11mm blade.  Center thickness of cane @.60-.61

English Horn gouger:  RDG machine.   12.5mm blade.  Center thickness of cane @.70-.71

Oboe d'amore gouger:  Graf machine. 11.25mm blade.  Center thickness of cane @.64-.65

All machines have been set up by me.
